Senior NDT Specialist

CB Canada is seeking a Senior NDT Technician for a remote position covering various locations across Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting audits, maintaining documentation, providing consulting services, and collecting data.
- Performing hardness testing, spark testing, asset evaluations, and corrosion assessments.
- Identifying internal and external flaws in welding materials and components using ultrasonic technology.
- Executing magnetic particle inspections.
- Delivering QA/QC technical services.
- Conducting NDT testing.
- Providing pipeline integrity services.
- Maintaining phased array permanent records.
Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- CGSB Ultrasonic Level 2, PAUT, and Magnetic Particle Level 2 certifications are mandatory.
- CWB Level 1 or 2 certification and experience in pipeline integrity are advantageous.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and travel within Western Canada for short-term assignments.
- Possession of a truck suitable for accessing pipeline rights-of-way, along with relevant industry-standard insurance coverage, is beneficial.
- Basic certification in UT/MPI equipment is a plus.
- Strong customer service and sales capabilities are essential.
- Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are crucial.
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Safety certifications including H2S, First Aid, Confined Space, and Fall Protection are necessary.
- Completion of a D&A pre-access examination.
- A background check will be conducted.
