Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

Job Summary

The Physiotherapy Assistant will work under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to assist in the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans to meet their needs.
  • Carry out treatment programs, including exercises, manipulations, and other interventions, under the supervision of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to meet the needs of patients.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple patients and priorities.
  • Use hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to perform tasks.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
  • Work a regular 32-hour week with occasional overtime.
