Job Title: Heavy Equipment Picker Operator

Company: Strike Group

Position Overview:

  • Support the transportation and handling of diverse materials, including client-provided machinery and pumpjack setups and dismantling.
  • Utilize a 2 Ton Picker Truck for various operational tasks.
  • Engage in ground-level duties as required.

Project Information:

  • Seasonal turnaround operations.
  • Work site located in a designated area.
  • Travel expenses covered.
  • Accommodation or Living Out Allowance (LOA) options available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate picker trucks for the lifting and moving of equipment and materials.
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections and assess crane load capacities.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Verify the accuracy of loaded trucks.
  • Execute pre-operational checks on machinery.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Journeyman Crane Operator certification and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in heavy oil and gas industrial operations.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings is mandatory.
  • A valid non-graduated driver's license is required.
