Position Overview
We are in search of an Operations Manager who will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of Tri-Mach Group Inc. This role involves overseeing the effective management of the Operations department, guiding and supporting departmental Managers, Supervisors, and Employees. The Operations Manager will work closely with the Senior Director of Operations on strategic planning initiatives and promote streamlined communication and quality processes across all divisions. It is essential for our Operations Manager to enhance the company’s image through a commitment to safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment, Hiring, and Training: Collaborate with Operations and Sales Directors to identify skill and resource planning gaps. Work proactively with the Recruitment Manager and HR Business Partner on departmental hiring needs. Participate in the interview and hiring process for operational roles, ensuring consistent onboarding training and skill assessment aligned with Tri-Mach's quality practices.
- Operational Performance Management: Ensure customer service remains a top priority by managing quality practices and meeting defined timelines. Oversee project budgets to prevent cost overruns and ensure adherence to schedules. Coordinate production planning and scheduling across departments to meet delivery targets.
- Team Performance & Communication: Foster a culture of teamwork with a focus on health & safety, quality, and training. Support the performance review process and maintain retention KPIs through positive communication and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on achieving high standards.
