Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Trimac Transportation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Work on chemical trailers, including chemical tankers and dry bulk units
  • Inspect and repair electrical systems, starting systems, and other critical components
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Red Seal certification or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic
  • Ability to work at heights up to 15 feet and in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
