As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for ensuring that technology, tools, and processes are in place to realize the artistic vision of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical resource for the team, determining the impact of artistic vision on technology.
  • Simplify production by automating tasks and improving processes.
  • Develop best practices, solutions, and tools to solve problems.
  • Promote the reuse of assets, knowledge, and tools across multiple projects.
  • Ensure the team has the technical expertise to complete project work.
  • Push the limits of technology to achieve the best visual results possible.
  • Establish strong communication between creative and technical teams.
  • Finding innovative solutions and demonstrating expertise in technical optimization.
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in 3D modeling, textures, frames, animation, lighting, special effects, and scripting.
  • Technical knowledge in real-time 3D graphics and digital content creation pipeline.
  • Real-time and pre-calculated lighting knowledge.
  • Experience with commercial 3D tools (Maya, 3ds Max, Substance, Blender).
  • Mandatory experience with Unreal (other game engines considered an asset).
  • Understanding of rendering hardware on multiple platforms (PC and current generation consoles).
  • Good knowledge of PBR workflow.
  • SpeedTree/Pivot Painter proficiency and other software for foliage assets.
  • Understanding of profiling and optimization on multiple platforms.
  • Nice-to-have: knowledge in Niagara or Houdini.
