The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business requirements, solution design, data extraction, transformation, and integration architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support.
Key Responsibilities:- Elicit requirements from business users, create work breakdown structures, plan, and execute deliverables.
- Investigate, analyze, and understand data contents of source data systems.
- Design and develop data warehouse solutions using dimensional modeling techniques.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective solutions for challenging problems.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Lead data warehouse initiatives from ideation to completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 9+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience.
- 7+ years of practical experience with ETL tools and complex transformation business rules implementation.
- 1+ year of experience in implementing and supporting DW in any cloud platform.
- Strong troubleshooting capability and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze existing SSIS code for improvements and enhancements.
- Experience with data warehouse design and development in manufacturing companies.
- Experience in using SAP ERP as a source system.
- Experience in cloud DW – snowflake and Azure Cloud Platform using Azure Data Factory, Talend, Fivetran/dbt, or Matillion.
