Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing feedback initiatives and collaborate with key stakeholders to address complaints and concerns, ensuring issues are resolved and tracked for accountability and enhancement.
- Facilitate a prompt, effective, and transparent complaints management process, determining follow-up actions in response to care quality concerns raised by patients, clients, residents, or their families, while minimizing organizational risk.
- Ensure accessible channels for patient/client/resident feedback, guiding them in understanding their rights while navigating through organizational protocols.
- Provide consultative support across Fraser Health on effective complaints management, advocating for a standardized process utilized organization-wide.
- Engage in the integration of quality improvement principles by delivering regular reports to senior leadership regarding patient/client/resident feedback.
- Employ sound judgment, conflict resolution skills, and effective verbal and written communication while addressing diverse and complex issues in an empathetic, culturally safe, and respectful manner.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field.
- A minimum of three years of recent, relevant experience in client relations, demonstrating knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including the Patient Care Quality Review Board Act, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Evidence Act, and the Hospital Act.
This position is a Relief Full-Time hybrid role, allowing for a combination of remote and office work.
