Teaching Opportunity with Avon Maitland District School Board

We are seeking qualified Secondary Occasional Teachers to join our team. As an Occasional Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools throughout the Avon Maitland District School Board region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach students in grades 9 through 12
  • Work in a flexible schedule, choosing when it fits with your availability
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a culture of inclusion and innovation
  • Have the opportunity to work in different schools across Perth and Huron Counties
Requirements:
  • Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Oral and written English proficiency
  • Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Availability for half or single day occasional teacher coverage on short notice
