Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Completions Engineer/Technologist to join our team in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our Thermal Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and executing completions and well servicing programs, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements to enhance program efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Execute Completions and Well Servicing Programs: Develop and implement strategies to improve completions performance and reduce costs, while ensuring all activities follow corporate and regulatory, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Track job entries and enter codes in Wellview, conduct OPEX KPI analysis and reviews, and monitor cost performance and cycle times to improve program efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with Field Personnel: Liaise with field personnel to maintain project efficiency, from programming to look backs, and identify and recommend technology improvements to create value.
Requirements
  • Must-Haves: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) registered with APEGA, minimum 5 years experience in similar roles with an oil & gas company, previous experience in Completions and Well Servicing, and drilling is preferred.
  • Desirable Skills: Demonstrated competency with Wellview, SAP experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and exceptional interpersonal, communication, organization and time management skills.
