Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing investment documentation, coordinating with fund administrators, and preparing financial statements and investor reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and review of investment documentation to ensure accurate accounting of investments and investment-related activities for the Funds of the investment strategies
  • Coordinate and oversee the investment accounting, operating, and investor capital activities prepared and performed by the fund administrators
  • Analysis and review of monthly and quarterly financial statements and investor reporting for the Funds of the investment strategies
  • Preparation of complete annual financial statements and related notes to the financials for the Funds
  • Analysis and review of the management and performance fees
  • Coordination of the external annual audit
  • Analysis and review of monthly accounting close processes of the monthly operating activities to ensure accurate accounting records
  • Coordination of the tax returns and sales tax returns with the external tax advisors, preparation of the supporting documentation and review of the returns
  • Develop and participate in the documentation, implementation, and maintenance of adequate and effective internal controls and procedures
  • Take on many different roles and tasks to support the growth of the business
Requirements
  • Undergraduate in Business Administration or Accounting
  • CPA designation is required
  • 5 years of experience in private market fund and direct investments accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Bilingualism required (fluency in French and English)
  • Ability and flexibility to adapt to a wide range of roles
