About the Role:
MédiSolution (2009) Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst - Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for analyzing collective agreements, applying them to our payroll and human resources management software, and working closely with clients to understand their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze customer requirements during the implementation of IT solutions;
- Analyze issues and propose action plans;
- Work closely with clients to analyze and assess their needs;
- Identify repetitive issues and participate in developing solutions;
- Contribute to the design of our software;
- Monitor requests for modification and improvement of our software from clients;
- Ensure the development team understands customer needs;
- Prepare and carry out various ad hoc activities (regulatory changes, writing releases, etc.);
- Responsible for verifying certain records such as year-end financials, fiscal year ends, and salary retroactivity calculations for clients;
- Support the customer support team to ensure follow-up on client calls;
- Perform any other related task as requested by superiors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma of Collegial Studies, or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a payroll department;
- Work experience in the healthcare sector;
- Familiarity with salary retroactivity calculations;
- Bilingualism (English, French), as we have clients in Quebec and the rest of Canada;
- Ability to demonstrate patience and diplomacy;
- Initiative and leadership;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Good ability to identify user needs;
- Good listening skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Solid knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft Office software suite;
- Ability to multitask;
Assets:
- Experience in the healthcare industry or public/parapublic service organizations;
- Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation;
- Knowledge of MédiSolution's Virtuo applications is a significant asset;
