About the Role

Fountain Tire (Winnipeg Pembina) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including adding or replacing hydraulic and transmission fluids, changing engine oil and lubricating running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment.
  • Tire Repair and Replacement: Repair and balance tires, and replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
  • Heavy Equipment Maintenance: Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment, and install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators.
  • Assisting Mechanics: Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
