About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team at Grind Contracting LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Remove Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Site Environment: Work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
