Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SAKUNTHALA CATERING INC.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that all necessary equipment and resources are available.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented in a clean and appetizing manner.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, stock levels, and customer feedback.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, and ensure that all issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
