Key Responsibilities:
As a Material Handler II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of outbound shipments. Your responsibilities will include coordinating deliveries from outside warehouses, maintaining LEAN and 5S initiatives, and supporting the daily processing of shipments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse, or supply chain or a related field
- Preferred experience with powered industrial trucks
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
This position requires standing for a period of 8 hours during a 10-hour shift and may involve moving boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. The work environment may range from ambient temperatures to as low as 2-4 degrees Celsius and minus 20 degrees Celsius.
