Position Overview

The Lead Cashier at Sardis Bottle Depot Ltd. plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the cash handling team. This position requires a blend of leadership, customer service, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Allocate tasks to sales personnel effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Control: Manage and order stock to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Returns Authorization: Approve the return of merchandise in accordance with company policies.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for cashiers to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Reporting: Compile and analyze reports related to sales performance, inventory, and staffing.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply chain challenges.
  • Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of cashiers to maintain high standards of service.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
