Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Hair Stylist to provide exceptional hair cutting, styling, and coloring services to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of quality in your work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Services: Provide hair cutting, styling, and coloring services to clients, including cutting and trimming hair according to client instructions or preferences, shampooing customers' hair, and providing scalp conditioning massages.
  • Hair Treatment: Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair, and provide other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting.
  • Hair Extensions: Apply hair extensions and clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
  • Receptionist Duties: Perform receptionist duties, including booking appointments and maintaining and ordering supplies.
  • Client Consultations: Suggest hair styles compatible with client physical features and preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the hair styling industry.
  • Certifications: Hairstylist Trade Certification.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and excellent oral communication skills.
Work Environment

Our salon is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and you will be required to stand for extended periods. You must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
