We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to lead our General Merchandise and Fashion teams. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the coordination of task completion, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities to team members as needed.
- Assess and improve the overall presentation of our General Merchandise and Fashion departments, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized shopping environment.
- Delegate and follow up on daily Customer Availability Process tasks, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Support with scheduling and associate coverage, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
- Participate in the training and development of General Merchandise and Fashion associates, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in retail management, with experience in General Merchandise and Fashion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
