About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our US Corporate Tax practice in Greater Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to multinational clients, assisting with tax planning and advisory engagements, and working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in complex and challenging US tax work, requiring significant analysis, assessment, and quantification.
  • Prepare or review US corporate and partnership tax returns for multinational clients, US tax provisions for public and private companies.
  • Work closely with leading tax practitioners in their field and have excellent career growth prospects and mentoring opportunities.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies for various clients, and assist in the development of new skills by researching a wide variety of tax issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Currently in the process of obtaining a US CPA designation, Enrolled Agent or US Masters of Tax.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills, with a strong ability to understand client needs and maintain strong client relationships.
