Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at Tech Bench Services Ltd. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
  • User Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect network assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Network Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Network Optimization: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure maximum efficiency.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Sitting for extended periods, with occasional standing and walking.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
