About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Media Manager to join our team at William Osler Health System. As a key member of our Strategic Communications Department, you will play a critical role in developing and executing robust digital media strategies and marketing campaigns to support our organization's priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic oversight of our digital media assets, including our website, intranet, email marketing, and social media channels, to advance our new plan and targeted advocacy agenda.
  • Develop and manage the online presence for our executive leadership social media accounts, aligning with strategic priorities and positioning our executives as thought leaders.
  • Ensure alignment of our digital footprint and thoughtful partnership across both our organization and the Osler Foundation.
  • Drive greater brand awareness through paid social media advertising and other marketing strategies.
  • Support the planning of editorial content and define key performance indicators in alignment with digital media goals, which include strengthening our brand and reputation and galvanizing support for our strategic imperatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on issues, emerging trends, and themes within the healthcare sector and community, and develop strategies and tactics around how they can be addressed via social media.
  • Support monitoring and review, as well as the development of responses to community questions and concerns via social media, in a timely manner to promote positive engagement and interaction.
  • Help conceptualize, curate, and develop content for social media platforms to educate diverse audiences about our organization and its people, and raise awareness around hospital programs and services.
  • Enforce our social media guidelines and policies among our staff, physicians, and volunteers.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, multi-media, communications, or a related field with relevant experience.
  • 5 years or more of digital media experience in a business, public sector, or non-profit setting.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Proven experience working in digital media, with a strong understanding of website technology, social media, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in social measurement tools, with proven experience accurately reporting and analyzing metrics to inform decision-making and guide strategy.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and developing and optimizing social media channels to engage, inform, influence, and motivate.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
  • Expertise in social media ad buying to maximize digital marketing effectiveness.
  • Excellent written communication skills with superior storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to motivate, engage, and lead a team.
  • Demonstrated high-level customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to travel between all Osler sites as required.
