WPG - Local Moving Straight Truck Driver - (WMS) - Fleet Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Local Moving Straight Truck Driver to join our team at Gardewine. As a key member of our moving and storage carrier, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe transportation of household goods and office furniture.
Key Responsibilities- Provide top-notch customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Lead the moving crew and ensure all paperwork is accurately completed and received.
- Safely operate a truck from point to point, performing routine checks and adhering to all policies and procedures.
- Load and unload households, tag and list, pad and protect furniture in a timely manner.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all policies, practices, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required to support the goals and objectives of the company.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to perform the physical requirements of this type of work.
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 license and in good standing.
- Prior household moving experience loading and unloading of Household/office furniture and specialty freight.
- Prior experience supervising teams would be beneficial.
- Comfort level driving in the evening/night, during inclement weather, and in residential neighborhoods.
