About the Role

MACK KIRK ROOFING & SHEET METAL LTD is seeking a skilled Roofing Assistant to join our team. As a Roofing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our roofing operations, ensuring the smooth execution of projects, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, including roofing supplies and equipment.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites, including cleaning and clearing debris.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as cranes and forklifts.
  • Quality Control: Assist in inspecting and testing materials and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to achieve project goals, share knowledge, and provide support when needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and perform manual tasks.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
