Key Responsibilities:


1. Execute setup operations for CNC Milling Centers and Lathes within designated timelines.
2. Conduct initial quality checks as per established procedures.
3. Operate machine tools to carry out machining tasks such as milling, drilling, and boring efficiently.
4. Safely load and unload components to ensure productivity.
5. Perform quality inspections as required and utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of machined parts.

6. Complete all necessary quality documentation and maintain SPS Charts, taking appropriate actions based on SPC training.
7. Conduct daily machine inspections as part of the preventative maintenance program and adhere to safety protocols.
8. Collaborate in problem-solving initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.



Qualifications:


1. Completion of Grade 12 education.
2. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in CNC machining.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of CNC programming for mills and/or lathes.
4. Familiarity with appropriate feeds, speeds, setups, adjustments, and operations of CNC machinery.
5. Proficient in using various measuring tools, including calipers, digital indicators, micrometers, and height gauges.

6. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, charts, tables, and quality documentation, including understanding tolerances and surface finishes.
7. Competence in reading and analyzing CMM reports and SPC data.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
