What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join us as our newest Optical Associate.

The Optical Associate is essential to our success, providing exceptional service to our patients. As the first point of contact, your passion for people and commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences will be vital. Your contributions will help us positively impact the health and well-being of our current and future patients.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 30 or more hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educating clients on optimal eyewear choices tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best value and quality
• Informing patients about advancements in corrective eyewear solutions and assisting with frame selection to meet their aesthetic and performance needs
• Interpreting optical prescriptions provided by optometrists
• Performing measurements to ensure proper fit and positioning of eyewear
• Submitting eyewear prescriptions to the manufacturing lab
• Conducting repairs and adjustments to eyewear
• Organizing and maintaining the retail display area
• Contributing to the achievement of store sales goals
• Upholding high standards of customer service through your interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Previous customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail setting
• Familiarity with the optical industry or knowledge of routine eye care is advantageous but not mandatory
• Professional demeanor and a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with people
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using technology and proficient in MS Office Suite
• Dedicated to excelling as part of a high-performing team
