Position Overview

The role of the Activity Instructor 2 involves delivering engaging and supportive recreational programs tailored to specific populations. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive environment that promotes health and wellness.

Key Qualifications

  • Completion of Grade 12 education in accordance with Manitoba Standards.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant health-related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with designated populations.
  • Consideration will be given to other relevant education and experience.
  • Current Food Safe Handling Certification in compliance with Prairie Mountain Health Policy.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence issued in the Province of Manitoba.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in group facilitation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively teach skills and utilize available program resources.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
  • Commitment to respecting cultural diversity and maintaining confidentiality.
