We are seeking a skilled Package Handler to join our team at FedEx. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of packages within our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload freight, scan, and sort packages within the facility.
- Transport packages within and between facilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrent training.
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Valid full driver's license and good driving record required.
This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts based on business needs.
Please note that candidates residing in the province of Quebec must be bilingual (French and English).
Additional requirements for this role include a valid G2/G license and a driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the 24 months prior to the date of application.
