About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our Desktop Engineering team at Mozilla Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building high-quality user interfaces for Firefox, with a focus on accessibility and usability.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop user interfaces for Firefox, ensuring they are accessible and usable for all users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and improvements.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following Mozilla's coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our products.
  • Work with our QA team to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong background in front-end development.
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in building complex web applications.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
