Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Housekeeping staff member for the Shaw Festival Theatre. As a member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for various light cleaning tasks, including operating cleaning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform light cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops
  • Assist with laundry and linen services
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Availability to work a 30-35 hour week over 5 days, including weekends
  • Valid G Class Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination
