We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Meloche Monnex Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the rating strategy for our general insurance products, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional premium regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement rating levels and classification criteria to achieve business objectives;
- Contribute to the production of regulatory rate change submissions;
- Support the implementation of rate changes and monitor their effectiveness;
- Develop and maintain tools and analysis techniques to support pricing decisions;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- 1-3 years of experience in actuarial science, preferably in property and casualty insurance;
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Sciences or a related field;
- Completion of all preliminary professional exams of the Casualty Actuarial Society;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, VBA, R, or Python;
- Predictive modeling skills and ability to work in a team environment.
