About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Risk Management Specialist at Manulife Financial Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies to ensure the company's financial stability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement risk management frameworks to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to measure risk exposure
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management to inform risk-based decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data automation solutions and improve data quality
- Conduct deep dive analyses of risk metrics to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations
- Communicate risk management strategies and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and risk management best practices
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree or equivalent in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in risk management, data analysis, or a related field. You should have experience with risk management frameworks, data analysis, and stakeholder management.
