Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team at T&T Supermarket Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and packaging of baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Handling: Ensure that all food products are handled and stored in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Material Transportation: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials as needed.
  • Product Packaging: Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Machinery Operation: Feed and unload processing machines, and operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products.
  • Quality Control: Check products and packaging for basic quality defects and apply quality control procedures.
  • Labeling and Packaging: Make labels and attach them to goods, and prepare raw materials for mixing processes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production deadlines and ensure a smooth workflow.
Work Environment

Our bakery is a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. As a Bakery Assistant, you will be working in a large volume bakery with a variety of equipment and machinery.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Language: English.
