About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Kantasa Construction Ltd. as a Construction Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Building Plans: Develop and implement detailed plans for construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Woodworking and Assembly: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to create high-quality building components.
  • Construction and Installation: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial buildings, including wooden structures in various settings.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account materials, labor, and other expenses.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the building trades industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
