Job Summary

ABS Truck and Trailers Parts Ltd. is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Drive Vehicles: Safely operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Prepare and Package Goods: Prepare, package, and restock goods for delivery.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Record Trip Information: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Manage Payments: Pay and receive payments for goods delivered.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Physical Demands: Be physically capable of handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and in warehouses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in a delivery or transportation role is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 35-hour week, with occasional overtime as needed.
