Position Overview

We are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team at M.S. Gill Painting Inc.. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for employee payroll.
  • Asset Management: Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare general ledgers and generate financial statements.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Statistical Reporting: Compile other necessary statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns as required.
  • Trial Balance: Prepare trial balances of books for review.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
Work Environment

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
