Job Summary

We are seeking a Bus Monitor to join our team in St. Thomas. As a Bus Monitor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students while on route.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational oversight and day-to-day management of bus routes
  • Assist drivers in safe operation of routes, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Communicate with school personnel, students, and parents to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience
  • Conduct emergency evacuations and assist with loading and unloading students
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the safe and efficient operation of bus routes

Requirements

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage high degrees of stress
  • Early morning availability and ability to work a varied schedule
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
