Position Overview

The Analyst, Research position is situated in Vancouver and reports directly to the Vice President of Global Research & Strategy. This role involves close collaboration with the Global Research team to support QuadReal's worldwide investment objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing global real estate market dynamics by monitoring and interpreting data related to economic indicators, demographic shifts, and capital market trends.
  • Support real estate investment evaluations and contribute to investment documentation by providing insightful market analysis.
  • Conduct thorough research on international markets, investment themes, and emerging trends to guide investment strategies.
  • Enhance the identification and utilization of quantitative methodologies and tools for comprehensive analysis.
  • Participate in the creation of presentations that outline market trends and strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain and update proprietary databases, analytical tools, and financial models.
  • Stay informed about significant political, economic, and market developments that influence real estate investments on a global scale.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams based in Vancouver and various international locations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, demonstrating strong academic performance and a passion for the real estate sector.
  • A minimum of 1-3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in real estate, institutional investment, research, finance, or economics. International experience is considered advantageous.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with proficiency in managing and analyzing data sets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and data visualization tools is a plus.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while independently advancing projects.
