The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role requires a passion for culinary arts and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain comprehensive records of food expenses, usage, sales, and inventory levels.
- Introduce and demonstrate advanced cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
- Supervise and mentor a team of specialized chefs, cooks, and kitchen personnel.
- Develop and innovate unique recipes to enhance the menu offerings.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation skills.
- Prepare and cook meals for special events and banquets.
- Manage and order kitchen supplies efficiently.
- Consult with clients regarding their specific catering needs for events.
- Plan and coordinate food preparation across multiple dining establishments.
- Recruit, hire, and provide training for new kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with food quality standards and regulations.
- Oversee a team of 3-4 culinary professionals.
