Job Title: Software Developer in Test and ETL

Maplesoft Group is seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test and ETL to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  2. Create and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, API testing, and performance testing.
  3. Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  4. Participate in test planning sessions to define test scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria.
  5. Identify areas suitable for automation and prioritize test cases for automation.
  6. Develop and maintain test data and test environments.
  7. Document defects clearly, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual outcomes.
  8. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely defect resolution.
  9. Execute automated test suites as part of each software release cycle.
  10. Investigate and troubleshoot test failures.
  11. Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy.
Requirements:
  1. Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as computer science, software engineering, or business administration.
  2. Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience in quality assurance, software testing, software development, or business analysis.
  3. Minimum security clearance of Reliability.
  4. This position can be filled in Ottawa, Montreal, or Toronto and will be hybrid (4 days a month onsite).
  5. A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
