We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at 12852195 CANADA INC. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
* Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
* Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
* Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
* Project cash flow and financing requirements
* Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms
* Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
* Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
* Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
* Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

Requirements:

* College/CEGEP education
* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating
* or equivalent experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
