Product Marketing Co-op Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to join our Product Marketing team at President's Choice Financial. As a Product Marketing Co-op, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in email marketing planning, including brief writing, managing creative development with the agency, and timelines.
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis on customer behavior and postmortems to drive desired outcomes for our credit card portfolio.
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing, Creative Agency, Legal, Data team, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in all campaigns.
  • Drive customer behavior using various tactics, including campaigns and updates to their digital experience.
  • Support our communications strategy by analyzing and providing strategic recommendations to improve KPIs such as open rate, click rate, and click-to-open rate.
  • Research email communications standard processes, trends, and technologies to assist in email marketing strategy development.
  • Assist in monitoring, tracking, and communicating campaign reporting for Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with lines of business across PC Financial (product strategy, credit risk, digital) and external suppliers (e.g., marketing agencies) in support of various initiatives.
  • Support regulatory/operational initiatives as required.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc requests as needed.
Requirements:
  • In school for marketing/business.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Project Management and time management skills.
  • Financial competence.
