Job Title: General Sales Manager

Rafih Auto Group is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to lead our new vehicle sales team. If you have a proven track record in dealership sales management, a dynamic personality, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.

Job Summary:

The General Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer retention and profitability for the dealership by hiring, training, and measuring the performance of salespeople and establishing customer-focused sales standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
  2. Recruit, train, and motivate sales team members to achieve sales targets.
  3. Manage and administer the new vehicle sales department budget.
  4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting new vehicle sales.
  5. Direct and schedule the activities of sales team members to ensure proper staffing.
  6. Assist sales team members in setting realistic sales goals and provide support to meet these goals.
  7. Maintain accurate sales activity logs and prospecting and sales control systems.
  8. Develop and implement follow-up systems for new vehicle purchasers.
  9. Maintain a customer-focused sales environment and promote teamwork throughout the sales, delivery, and follow-up process.
  10. Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings and provide effective communication throughout the new vehicle department.
  11. Ensure sales team members understand and follow dealership policies and procedures.
  12. Provide product and training resources for sales team members on a regular basis.
  13. Oversee sales team efforts to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership.
  14. Work with sales team members to develop programs to increase new-car gross and F&I penetration.
  15. Develop incentive programs with dealers and other managers.
  16. Assist sales team members in closing deals when necessary.
  17. Complete deal settlement sheets and turn them into the accounting office in a timely manner.
  18. Establish and maintain standards for vehicle delivery to customers.
  19. Schedule first service appointments at the time of delivery.
  20. Provide dealer with accurate floor traffic control data on a daily basis.
  21. Process salesperson commission sheets and monitor payroll records of sales team members.
  22. Review inventory daily to ensure the proper mix of grounded stock for maximum turnover efficiency.
  23. Recommend new-car inventory to be carried by color, model, and equipment based on customer and market analyses.
  24. Assist the used-vehicle department with trade appraisals as needed.
  25. Direct merchandising and advertising efforts for the new vehicle department in conjunction with other managers and dealer.
  26. Assist in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.
  27. Attend managers meetings as requested.
  28. Maintain a professional appearance.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Dealership Sales Manager is required for this position.
