About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Dutchmaster Nurseries Ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and automotive systems, including adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and adjust or replace parts and components as needed.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, and perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed, and maintain accurate records of work completed.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field of automotive service and repair.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
