Working Hours: 6 PM to 3 AM, weekdays. Shift Type: Night Shift

Job Overview:
Summary
The Shipper/Receiver will operate within the warehouse, cooler, and freezer sections of Atlantic Beef Products, Inc. This role involves managing equipment for the production of various goods while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and safety protocols. This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a standing position for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and manage the operation and shutdown of all relevant equipment to ensure safe and efficient functioning (e.g., forklifts, counterbalance, motorized walkie, pump cart, scanners)
- Handle the receipt of raw materials and the dispatch of finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and oversee inventory management
- Identify and address mechanical issues, communicating concerns to Supervisors or Maintenance
- Complete forms for HACCP and Quality Assurance accurately and neatly (e.g., lot control for traceability, production reporting)
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for product and packaging materials (e.g., product rotations, FIFO procedures)
- Engage in training and educational opportunities relevant to the role.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid Forklift License
- Class 1 Driver's License (preferred)
- Experience with RF scanning and material handling equipment (preferred)
- Ability to operate a stand-up or reach truck
- Capable of lifting up to 80 pounds
- Willingness to adhere to specific instructions
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with minimal supervision

Work Environment
- Requires heavy lifting, pushing/pulling, and bending
- Standing/walking for extended periods
- Exposure to cooler and freezer conditions

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
- Overtime may be necessary
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including helmets and steel-toed boots
- Hair nets and beard nets are mandatory
