Job Title:

Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Extendicare (Canada) Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Support residents with their medication management and administration
  • Engage residents in activities and programs that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, including their living spaces and common areas
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent experience
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and First Aid
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
