Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at IDEX Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general accounting duties, including the full payable cycle, posting cash receipts, and updating customers on outstanding invoices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Match, code, input, and file A/P invoices
  • Process cheque runs, generate payments, and resolve issues with vendors
  • Contact customers daily on outstanding receivable invoices
  • Post payments received in the ERP system and reconcile cash receipts versus invoice amount
  • Update invoices and supporting documents as needed via customer portals
  • Update and maintain customer master files
  • Generate accounts receivable related reports and update spreadsheets
  • Perform a variety of accounting month-end activities

Requirements

  • Related post-secondary diploma in Accounting/Business
  • A minimum of two (2) years accounting experience
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel skills required)
  • Working knowledge of JDE a definite asset

This role interfaces with all employees, both domestic and international. The successful candidate will be a motivated team player with the ability to work effectively with staff within the organization as well as with customers, vendors, and representatives from around the globe.
