About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at BNV Diesel Services Inc. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect diesel engines and equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
Work Environment

This is a permanent position working 30 to 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
