Our flagship solution, Aurora, is a cutting-edge, fully automated loan/lease origination system (LOS) and vendor/customer portal. Aurora empowers lenders and their partners to automate the loan origination process from a borrower's application to initial funding approval in just 3 minutes. We also partner with leading fintech companies to create turnkey Salesforce apps that simplify and automate the loan origination process.
Job SummaryAt Northteq, our agile product team is responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of our flagship Aurora platform (built on Salesforce) and key Salesforce apps. We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to provide strong leadership in our growth into a market-leading B2B provider in Equipment Finance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers and QA: hiring staff, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment and effective communication within the team.
- Collaborate with other teams, including product management, professional services, and sales, to provide strategic input on roadmap priorities.
- Help scope initiatives and ensure delivery of innovative, high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor team performance and progress towards sprint goals, identifying opportunities for optimization and process improvement.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource management.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms to support the development and optimization of Salesforce applications, keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the engineering team, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Monitor and assess team performance, productivity, and efficiency, implementing strategies to optimize resource allocation and maximize team effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating project status, risks, and dependencies effectively and facilitating alignment on project goals and priorities.
- Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, releases, and features, ensuring the team remains proficient in Salesforce development methodologies and best practices.
- Define and track key performance metrics to drive data-driven decision-making, optimize resource utilization, ensure quality deliverables, and foster continuous improvement within the development team.
