Job Title: Provincial Medical Director for Cancer Rehabilitation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to fill the role of Provincial Medical Director for Cancer Rehabilitation. This position will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of cancer rehabilitation services across the province.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to multidisciplinary cancer rehabilitation teams
  • Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and protocols for cancer rehabilitation services
  • Collaborate with regional centre Executive Medical Directors on staff hiring and orientation
  • Facilitate growth in health equity and cultural competency
  • Proactive management of patient safety and patient experience
Requirements:
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting indigenous communities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
